HUB CULTUREL ET ÉDUCATIF PARIS JOINS THE EUROPEAN PROJECT “SENIOR WISDOM TECH HUB – THE DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES SUPPORT FOR ACTIVE AGEING!” AS OFFICIAL PARTNER

Paris, France — Hub Culturel et Éducatif Paris is proud to announce its selection as an official partner in the new Erasmus+ KA220-ADU project “Senior Wisdom Tech Hub – The Digital Technologies Support for Active Ageing!”, a forward-looking initiative dedicated to improving digital inclusion and independence among seniors in rural and small-town communities across Europe.

The project brings together six organisations with strong expertise in adult education, digital skills, and community development:

Main Activities

The project aims to empower seniors (aged 55+) with essential digital skills and foster greater social inclusion by introducing accessible digital training led by trained mentors. Key activities include:

  • Selection and training of 24 mentors from partner organisations, providing them with a high-quality digital skills curriculum.
  • Drafting and publishing three intellectual outputs:
    • Curriculum & Course Support for training digital mentors,
    • A user-friendly E-Guide for mentors and seniors,
    • An interactive E-learning Platform to facilitate online learning.
  • Training 48 seniors from small towns and rural areas in the practical use of smartphones and essential digital tools.
  • Implementing mentoring programmes with ongoing support and local activities.
  • Organising six multiplier events, one in each partner country, to share results and promote digital inclusion.

Expected Results

The project will deliver long-lasting impact by producing:

  • 24 trained digital mentors, equipped with knowledge to support senior learners.
  • 48 seniors able to confidently use smartphones for everyday tasks including communication, online services, and safe internet navigation.
  • A complete training curriculum with structured learning objectives and lesson plans.
  • A practical E-Guide designed for both mentors and senior learners.
  • A fully functional E-learning Platform, offering open learning resources for digital skills training.
  • Strengthened organisational capacity across all six partners to operate sustainable digital mentoring programmes for seniors.
  • A new European network for senior digital inclusion, promoting long-term cooperation and knowledge sharing.
