We are thrilled to announce that Hub Culturel et Éducatif Paris has officially been awarded a new Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA122-ADU) project titled “Tackling Digital Exclusion: Academy for Digital Creators.”
This initiative marks an important milestone in our mission to empower independent musicians and creative professionals—especially those coming from marginalized or digitally excluded communities.
What Is This Project About?
The project focuses on one of the most urgent challenges in today’s creative industries: digital exclusion.
Many independent artists struggle with digital tools, metadata management, streaming platform requirements, and copyright protection. Without these essential skills, they cannot fully participate in the digital creative economy.
Our project aims to close this gap by offering a structured international learning experience focused on:
- Digital literacy and online creative tools
- Copyright and intellectual property protection
- Metadata and encoding for streaming platforms
- Digital content creation: audio, video & multimedia
- Strategies for building a professional digital presence
Through this learning mobility, participants will gain the tools and confidence needed to enter the digital marketplace on equal footing.
Who Will Participate?
We will bring together a diverse group of 20 adult learners, all active in the creative and cultural sectors:
- Independent musicians
- Visual artists
- Performers
- Digital beginners from underrepresented communities
- Participants with fewer opportunities who face socio-economic, digital, or geographical barriers
They will be supported by 6 accompanying persons, ensuring accessibility, inclusion, and personalised mentorship throughout the mobility.
Where Will the Mobility Take Place?
The mobility will be held in Bulgaria, in partnership with our hosting organisation, the Digital Partnerships for Creative Europe Association (DiPaCre)—a leading centre in digital training for the creative industries.
What Will the Training Include?
The 10-day training agenda will combine theory, hands-on practice, and real-life application:
Training Highlights
- Understanding EU copyright & digital rights management
- Practical metadata creation and encoding techniques
- Uploading content to streaming platforms
- Digital audio & video production workshops
- Creating a digital artist portfolio
- Building visibility on digital platforms
- Safety, data protection & online marketing basics
- Mentorship sessions with digital industry experts
All participants will receive a Europass Mobility Certificate recognizing their newly acquired skills.
Why This Mobility Matters
This project is more than a training course—it is a step toward building a more inclusive creative ecosystem across Europe.
By opening digital doors for marginalized artists, we contribute to a more diverse, fair, and accessible digital culture.
Stay Tuned!
Over the next weeks, we will begin the preparation phase and soon start selecting participants.
We will also publish updates, behind-the-scenes insights, and important announcements regarding:
- Application and selection procedures
- Full training agenda
- Travel dates
